GHS is the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. It’s a global approach to hazardous chemical classification and communication that countries and agencies around the world can adopt to more closely align their disparate hazard communication standards in order to, among other things, reduce trade barriers and protect end-users of chemicals.
