GHS Training

December 1, 2013 is the first OSHA HazCom 2012 compliance deadline for employers. By that time, employers must have trained employees on new label elements and safety data sheets in the GHS format.

We Have 3 GHS Courses to Choose From:

1. Hazard Communication 2012 Awareness-Refresher
Specifically designed to assist employers in complying with the Dec. 1, 2013 OSHA training deadline, this course introduces new GHS label elements and SDS format conforming to the United Nation’s Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling. Perfect for employees previously trained on Hazard Communication requiring additional training in light of the Hazard Communication 2012 updates.

2. Hazard Communication 2012
Hazard Communication 2012 is a comprehensive investigation of OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), with special emphasis on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling (GHS). Help minimize employee exposures to harmful materials and minimize accidental releases of the material to the work environment. Coverage includes a breakdown of GHS related safety data sheet and labeling requirements.

3. Safety Data Sheets
This course delves deeper into the new 16-section Safety Data Sheet (SDS) formatted in the GHS style.  It includes a comprehensive explanation of each section of the new SDS format, with detailed definitions of specific chemical properties, as well as new physical and health hazards.

MSDSonline GHS training courses can be employed as online courses accessible anywhere via the internet or integrated into your current training system. Employee progress can be tracked and recorded. Because Dec. 1 is the first of several GHS-related deadlines, MSDSonline anticipates that OSHA will be extra vigilant in confirming training compliance. Compare Our Workplace Training Packages.
